MAD SHOPPER'S TEA PARTY

Giant stacked teacups, 'drink me' bottles, human-size chess,

live Wonderland dance performance;

and best of all discounts and goody bags.

Victoria Quarter's first Spring/Summer Shopping Event took place last Thursday.

This was also the first event for our 5-week-old Kiehls Leeds Boutique.

I dressed up as Alice and my assistant manager dressed up as the Mad Hatter.

The event was buzzing~ plenty of cake, bubbly and goody bags~ even for us.shhh..

If I wasn't working I definitely would have been there^^.

The next and biggest shopping event for Victoria Quarter is their annual Autumn event.

{Fashion} Leeds Vintage Fashion Fair & OOTD

I went to the LEEDS VINTAGE FASHION FAIR a few weeks ago.

Was the first time I'd been to a fashion fair in Leeds.

I actually only found out about it the day beforehand;

someone stopped by at work and handed me flyer for it~^^

It was held at the Town Hall. £3 entrance.

There were many small 'stalls'; selling vintage clothing; accessories and jewellery^^.

I bought a Chiltern dark brown satchel (£9);

a foil decor brooch (£8) and a mother of pearl silver bracelet (£8).

Another vintage fashion fair will be taking place on 5th June;

at The Corn Exchange. No entrance fee.

I will definitely be going ( on my lunch break^^).

The quarter will be decorated to the theme of Alice in Wonderland.

There will be offers, discounts and treats throughout

the Quarter, inc. Harvey Nichols.

New City New Job

It's May; and this is my first post of the year!

I'm sitting in my new bedroom;

in a 4storey house- sharing with 10 (nice) strangers.

I live a 25-minute-walk away from my new job;

in a new city..

Things have just fallen in the right places for me.

I originally planned on moving in Summer;

to be closer to my boyfriend.

But before I even started looking for a job;

I got offered a job;

to work for Kiehl's since 1851,

in a brand new boutique in Leeds!!

Been in Leeds about a month now.

Still not totally settled in

but everything/everyone

has been great~

I do miss my family and friends in Newcastle.

But they are only a phone call or 2hour ride away~

This move is exactly what I needed~

something out of my comfort zone,

something NEW DIFFERENT FUN CHALLENGING~
