{D.I.Y.} 2NE1 Inspired Trainers

2NE1 was originally to be named 21; that's why their signature sign is the card pair; Queen of Heart and Ace of Spades cards.

I watched a few eps of 2NE1 TV and in one of the episodes CL makes some trainers for the group.

Well 2NE1's stylist Yang Seung Ho did the outlines; CL coloured in; I can't remember what the other stylist Lee Hyun Jung did.. but he was there so of course he did something.

The design was based on the card pair; the Queen of Hearts on one shoe and the Ace of spades on the other.

Unfortunately I couldn't find those slip-on plimsoles they used! I looked everywhere. Can't even find them on ebay! So I opted for plain canvas trainers from New Look. £7 (I think).

To fit the Queen on I decided to draw her facing the opposite way.

Also I didn't end up putting the laces all the way through. Just through the top hoops and then tucked them in b/c the laces make them look weird.

I've yet to wear them out since I haven't bought any ScotchGuard yet and there's no point testing my luck against British weather~__~ so I've just been wearing them indoors.haha
